“ Excellent food and service! We tried the torta Cubana, quesadilla birria and a pork tamal. We loved it all! We have a lot of experience with traditional Mexican food and can vouch that this place is legit. It is family friendly with space outside as well as a wide selection of Chocolate Shoppe Ice Cream flavors. We are so happy we stopped and look forward to coming back with the kids soon. ”

“ Genesis in St. Charles is high quality Mexican food, which we have been anxiously awaiting! They also serve burgers and American food, as well as a full breakfast menu. We ordered the Asada (steak) burrito and chicken tacos. The tacos were street taco style which were delicious. The food is not spicy, so you can add your own hot sauce or use their homemade sauce to your liking. When we entered to pick up our takeout, a huge sizzling skillet of fajitas was coming out for a customer and it smelled and looked incredible. Highly recommend Genesis restaurant! Edit 5/1/22: We dined in for breakfast and their menu has expanded, with digital menus instead of a chalkboard. I got eggs Benedict and my husband got a Burrito. They have a new hot sauce that's spicy and creamy, it was delicious. ”

The service is incredibly friendly - the gentleman routinely engaged the children and made them feel welcome. The atmosphere is clean and airy, with seasonal decorations. The food is the best part!
